Chapter 1: Surprise Giveaway Announcement
Nichole: Hey everyone, I’m Nichole with Gator Metal Roofing and we are here surprising this year’s sweepstakes winner. We’re at their house right here in Blacksburg, South Carolina. We’re going to go surprise them right now. We are here to install their brand new metal roof. So, let’s go surprise them. Come on.

Nichole: Hi! Are you Jason?
Jason: I am.
Nichole: I’m Nichole with Gator Metal Roofing and we are here to surprise you. You won a brand new metal roof.
Jason: Oh, awesome!
Nichole: Yeah!
Chapter 2: Winner Reaction & Story
Nichole: So, Jason, congratulations again on winning our sweepstakes.
Jason: Thank you.
Nichole: So, tell me, what made you want to enter in the first place?
Jason: Well, I’m fully renovating the house. I was actually planning to do an addition, but I guess the timing didn’t work out for that.
Nichole: Sometimes the timing just happens. Like you said, you pushed it off and pushed it off and now you won a free metal roof!
Jason: Yeah, aboslutely.
Nichole: So, it was kind of good that you were pushing it off.
Jason: Yeah.
Nichole: Do you remember how you found out about the sweepstakes to begin with?
Chapter 3: How He Found the Giveaway
Jason: I guess after searching online, getting Facebook ads—
Nichole: Mhm.
Jason: —about entering, liking the page and whatnot.
Nichole: Yeah.
Jason: I never thought I would win, so I signed up anyways.
Nichole: Yeah.
Jason: They called me a few months later. I actually hung up on the guy the first time because I didn’t think it was real.
Nichole: Spam. Yeah!
[laughter]
Jason: And then he called me back. He’s like, “No, you won.” I’m like, “What?” I was totally shocked.
Nichole: I love that. Yeah.
Jason: Yeah.
Chapter 4: Plans with Saved Money
Nichole: Do you have any other ideas of how you’re going to use that money that you were going to spend on a roof for something else, whether it’s home improvement or something completely different?
Jason: Yeah. Yeah. I’m actually going to build another bathroom now because I have the extra funds.
Nichole: There you go.
Jason: Yeah. It’s great. I mean, it’s one less thing I got to worry about. Yeah.
Chapter 5: Roof Problems & Leak
Nichole: Can you describe your current condition of your shingles? Like why were you considering what made you just even consider a metal roof back a couple months prior?
Jason: Well, I like the sleek, modern look of the metal roof.
Nichole: Yeah.
Jason: I bought the house maybe 2 years ago.
Nichole: Mhm.
Jason: And then after that hurricane, I started developing a leak.
Nichole: Yeah. When you had the leak initially, were you just kind of googling like different roofing options—
Jason: Yeah.

Jason: Actually, I was searching, right? I didn’t want to go with the shingle. I wanted to go with a metal, but the shingle was more cost affordable. But since it’s my going to be my forever home, I figured might as well.

Jason: Yeah. It’s a win-win.
Nichole: How did you hear about metal in the first place? Cuz you said you initially you were just going to go repair with shingles, but—
Jason: Right.

Nichole: —had you just known about metal roofing for a while now, and you just decided to kind of look more into it?
Jason: I like the cost savings. The uh they’re more efficient. And whatnot.
Nichole: Yeah. Like you said, the modern the sleekness, and we also have a lifetime warranty. So, even though you’re getting a brand new roof today, God forbid if anything were to happen, like another leak, for example, now you have our lifetime warranty on top of that.
Jason: Yeah.

Nichole: So, we’re here and the roof was literally just installed. So, we’re going to go ahead and get his first reactions. So, let’s go see what he thinks.

Nichole: Hey Jason, the roof is all done. Do you want to come take a look at it?
Jason: Let’s go look.
Jason: Oh yeah.
Nichole: What are you thinking?
Jason: Love it.
Nichole: It looks fantastic.
Jason: Exactly how I was dreaming of it.
Nichole: All righty. So, I am here with our sweepstakes winner, Jason, he literally just got his brand new Gator Metal roof installed. We saw the first reactions. Jason, overall, what are you thinking? Is it literally what you imagined it to be?
Chapter 9: Final Reaction & Review
Jason: It really is. I actually love it.
Nichole: Yeah,I think I pulled up y’all and I was blown away. I mean, before and after I was telling him his house looked amazing before, but the black just matches. So, we were here all day today. Did you think the installation would take as long or as quickly as it did?
Chapter 10: Installation Speed Feedback
Jason: I thought it was actually really quick—
Nichole: Mhm.
Jason: —for uh you know, the installation.
Nichole: Mhm. And the finished product, I mean, again, it doesn’t look like it was installed in under a day, but it was.
Jason: Right. Right. A couple hours.
Nichole: Yeah, and how was just the process overall working with our team from beginning to end?
Jason: Very smooth. Yeah. Any questions I had, I’ve emailed you guys and answer them right away.

Nichole: And I know Victor and his team, they went out of their way to do, you know, a little extra things that you needed done specifically for your roof. Is that correct?

Jason: Yeah, cuz I was adding the bathroom, so the vents weren’t there yet.
Nichole: Mhm.
Jason: So, I went ahead and popped the holes and he did the favor of adding the the new vents for me.
Nichole: Which is great because again, not only did you get a brand new free roof and you’re able to put that money to a different home improvement project, but they were able to work with you and be flexible as well and you were thinking ahead and our team was helping you think ahead for your future renovations of your home.

Jason: Yep. Exactly right.
Nichole: What are your thoughts on the black? Are you glad you went with the black?
Jason: I’m super glad I went with the black. Yeah. I don’t think any other color would have looked as nice and I guess time will tell how efficient it really is.
